One of the biggest questions that students have is ‘When should I do my homework?’. What’s the best time to get it done? 🤔
Let’s keep this short & sweet. The best time to do your homework is as soon as you get home! Before you call your friends to hang out, before you start watching TV, before you start playing video games, you should do your homework.
Here are some pros to getting your homework done as soon as you get home.
- You are more likely to recall things covered during class, which can make the homework easier.
- You will get your work done early & have the rest of the evening to relax and do things you enjoy.
- You don’t have to worry about rushing to finish your homework right before bed.
Here are some cons to getting your homework done as soon as you get home.
- You may be doing your homework while most of your friends are having fun.
- You may be too tired from learning all day to immediately jump into doing homework.
Weigh both the pros and cons for yourself and decide what’s the best time for you to complete your homework. For me, completing my homework early definitely helped me rest better at night, and I enjoyed knowing that I had the rest of the evening to do whatever I wanted.
