Back2Basics was founded by Phylisicia N. Carter, PhD. Dr. Carter truly believes that the key to excelling in mathematics is a solid foundation. She is committed to help others reach their fullest potential in mathematics through a series of electronic books, math consultation, and virtual tutoring sessions.
Having struggled early in her undergraduate career in math, Dr. Carter did not let that deter her from excelling at math. She continued her journey and used her past obstacles in math to empower others. Dr. Carter went on to earn 2 Master's degrees in mathematics en route to her PhD in Applied Mathematics.
Throughout her journey, Dr. Carter has constantly been tutoring others in math.
